Our next ND Library Leaders meeting is next week on Wed, May 20 at 5pm London / 12pm Eastern / 9am Pacific.

Sharing resources

If you have any resources that feel directly relevant to our topic, we’d love for you to share them before, during, and/or after our meetings! That was one of the reasons we really like this platform for sending out updates - it also posts to the web where you can add comments!

But, we need to make sure you’re aware that those posts will be visible publicly AND that if you just log in without doing anything else, they’ll show up with the full name you entered into the Zoom registration form. If you’re not completely out at work about being neurodivergent, then you may want to change your display name before posting.

Here’s how to change that:

On the post webpage, there are two links to log in - one at the top right of the screen, and one right below the comment box. Click either link and enter your email address, and beehiiv will send a confirmation code to your email.

After you enter that,

  1. click the little icon at the top right of your screen,

  2. select “manage profile”,

  3. click the three dots at the top right of the “Account profile” box,

  4. select “edit profile”, and

  5. enter what you want to appear in the boxes.

Note that if you just delete the info without replacing it with something, the system will use the old info. So if you just want to remove your last name, you can add a couple of spaces or an emoticon. My test account now shows up as “Angela 🌻”!

And we use the first name field to personalize these emails, so make sure you pick something you don’t mind seeing in the “Hi ____” line at the top of your emails!
